Stewardship, Tuition, Fees, & Aid
Stewardship
Immaculate Conception Parish has embraced full stewardship. Stewardship is rooted in the Sacred Scriptures and is an expression of our gratitude to God.
Acts 4:32 & 34 (Putting God first means putting others first)
"The community of believers were of one heart and one mind.  None of them ever claimed anything as their own; rather, everything was held in common... nor was there anyone needy among them."
Active parishioners, ones who are full stewardship members of the parish, may attend ICS with no tuition. An active parishioner is defined as someone who:
  • attends Mass weekly
  • makes an annual written commitment to generously share their time, talent, and treasure
  • follows through on those commitments.
Recommended family goals for sharing treasure are 5% of net income to the parish, and 5% of net to other charities.  That being said, stewardship is about equal sacrifice, not equal gifts.  1 Peter 4:10 says, "As each one has received a gift, use it to serve one another as good stewards of God's varied grace."
