Academic Clubs and Activities
ICS offers a variety of co-curricular activities including clubs, service organizations and academic contests to provide an opportunity for students to grow spiritually and socially, develop deeper relationships with teachers and peers, build self-esteem and leadership skills, and learn the value of teamwork. These activities are an integral part of the overall educational experience.

Bi-County and Knights of Columbus Spelling Bees

Description:The chess team has one practice a month after school, beginning in October, and then competes in four meets plus the diocesan meet on Saturday mornings from January through April. The first meet of the year is normally held at ICS, with the remaining meets at Queen of Peace, Blessed Sacrament, and St. Teresa, all in Belleville. The Saturday morning meets normally run about three hours, with the students playing four 15-minute matches over that time.
