Parents pay tuition based on whether they are parishioners and how many children they have enrolled:
For parish children, most of the cost of an education at ICS is paid by the parishioners of Immaculate Conception. (For the 20012 – 2013 school year, our estimated cost per student is $5,250.) For our definition of “parishioner,” please see the preceding section called Parishioner Status.
Please note that ICS tuition is eligible for the Illinois school tax credit.
In addition to tuition, parents are also responsible for a book bill, lab fee, and additional fees (includes diocesan test, A-V fees and some field trips) for each child. This amount varies by grade, but is currently broken down as follows:
*Diocesan test fees, A-V fees, some field trips.
*If you are a new student in grades 5-8, you will need a new Bible, please add $30 to your total.
You have the option of paying your tuition and book bills by electronic fund transfer directly from your bank account. Payments are deducted monthly from August through April. Alternatively, you may make regular installment payments in cash, by check or by credit card.
Tuition Payment Options for 2012-2013 School Year:
|1.||Annually (due Sept. 1st)|
|2.||Semi-Annually (due Aug. 15th and Jan. 15th)|
|3.||Monthly (due the 15th of the month from Aug. through Apr.)|
We would also like to remind Parish families that the ICS Scholarship Fund is available to pay all or part of an ICS education for families with financial need. The application process is simple and strictly confidential. Since the application is mailed direct to the company administering the scholarship program, no one at school or in the parish sees your application. We want your child to be part of the ICS family, so please do not hesitate to apply.
