Child Protection Training
The Child Protection Policy was created by the Diocese of Belleville to help ensure the safety of children at diocesan schools. It is designed to help parents, teachers and coaches recognize and help prevent child abuse. Any parent who has regular contact with students or who wishes to chaperon field trips must attend Child Protection Policy training.
The initial training takes only two hours; in subsequent years, parents must take an on-line refresher course. Dates and locations of training sessions are listed regularly in the school newsletter and parish bulletin, as well as on the diocesan website.
